We show the reasoning, not the call.
Structured courses in equities, fixed income and derivatives, taught alongside a live trading room — by someone who spent twenty years doing this inside institutions, and still trades every session.
Start with the work, not the sales page.
Every week we publish a full market review — what actually moved across equities, rates, currencies and commodities, and what the week ahead turns on.
It is free and needs no account — the fairest way to judge whether how we read markets is worth paying to learn.
In this week’s review
- The Fed held at 3.75–4% with 2 votes to raise, PCE inflation rose to 3.6%, and the 2-year Treasury yield still fell 13bp to 4.56%: the bond market was watching the share market, not the Fed.
- Alphabet −13% on Thursday, Intel −29% on Friday; the S&P 500 fund −0.6% on the week while 9 of 11 sectors rose and the average sector beat the index for a 4th week, by 1.4 points.
- October by sector: energy +13.9%, consumer staples +11%, utilities +10%, health care +9.9%; technology −8.3%, communication services −10%; the index −0.9%.
- Nigeria: the one-year bill cleared at 15.80% with ₦1.8trn bid and ₦38bn allotted; the bill curve has gone flat, and the issue weighs a market forecast of lower rates against a rate managed by rationing supply.
- Week ahead: midterm elections Tuesday, October payrolls Friday, read against a 2-year at 4.56%; Nigeria’s next auction 11 November.
